Boxing fans were understandably elated when news broke last week claiming a deal had finally been agreed for Anthony Joshua versus Tyson Fury.
Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn stated that the two heavyweight champions had agreed on the split two fights in 2021, with Fury later confirming the news on his official social media channels.
It's without question the biggest fight in British boxing history, one that will no doubt bring the UK - and many other countries across the world - to a standstill.
However, watching the fight isn't going to come cheap. The pay-per-view price in the UK is all but certainly going to shoot up once again.
For a considerable amount of time, the price for pay-per-view fights in England was always set at £19.99 on both Sky Sports and - more recently - BT Sport.
That figure was increased to £24.95 by Sky Sports for Joshua's much-anticipated rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia back in December.
According to World Boxing News, that amount could be doubled for Joshua vs Fury to £49.95.
Both Sky Sports and BT Sport are currently considering a figure between £29.95 and £49.95. Even if they opt for the lowest figure, it's going to set a new record.
With reports of Joshua and Fury set to receive close to £70m each for the fight, fans can likely expect the pay-per-view price to be over the £40 mark - at least.
World Boxing News also claim that there is a chance the two Joshua versus Fury fights could be made available to buy as a pair, which would be an unprecedented move in the history of boxing broadcasting.
However, even if the financial figures being discussed are a bit crazy, there's still no doubt that thousands will cough up the cash to watch a fight of this magnitude.
