Havertz on the move

Kai Havertz is poised to leave Bayer Leverkusen.

Christian Falk, Bild’s head of football, used Twitter to quote the club’s manging director, Caro, who has said that the club will not stand in the forward’s way if a bid is forthcoming.

He said: “At Kai Havertz I see that many clubs are interested in him.

“I see the player’s desire to take the next step in the near future.”

Liverpool have contacted the Bundesliga club regarding the possibility of signing Havertz, per The Athletic, and could now make a bid for the player, who has scored 15 goals in all competitions this term.

Ngakia interest

According to Read Liverpool, the club have made a move for West Ham United defender Jeremy Ngakia.

The teenage right-back is set to leave the club at the end of the month upon the expiration of his contract.

A number of clubs are said to have expressed an interest in Ngakia, who has played four times in the Premier League this season.

And Liverpool have enquired after his availability, having spoken with his agent.

Ngakia, though, is said to want first-team football, meaning a move to Anfield may well be a non-starter.

Grujic exit

Marko Grujic is set to leave Liverpool this summer.

Sport Witness carry a report from Arena Napoli, who claim that the Reds player has been offered to Napoli ahead of the summer transfer window.

He has spent the season on loan at Hertha Berlin and has made a total of 14 appearances for the Merseyside club.

Per the report, Liverpool want €25m (£22.2m) but are more likely to receive between €20m (£17.8m) and €15m (£13.3m).
