UEFA have confirmed the Champions League will be completed in August.
A mini-tournament will be held in Lisbon between the 12th and 23rd of the month, consisting of the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
The showpiece event will take place on the evening of the 23rd and will be played at Benfica's Estádio da Luz, which hosted the 2014 final.
No fans will be present for any of the games and each will be played over one leg, rather than two.
Ahead of the mini-tournament in Portugal, the unplayed round of 16 ties will be completed the week prior, on August 7th and 8th.
It's not yet been confirmed where these fixtures will be hosted.
According to the Daily Mail, if the last-16 games cannot be completed at the scheduled home stadiums, Porto and Guimaraes will be added as potential venues for the matches.
The Europa League is also set to be concluded later this summer.
Quarter-finals onwards will be played in four German cities: Cologne, Duisburg, Dusseldorf and Gelsenkirchen.
Those games will take place between the 10th and 21st of August - with the final in Cologne on August 21.
During Wednesday's meeting, UEFA also confirmed that the city of Istanbul, which should have hosted this year's Champions League final, will instead host in 2021.
That also means the final scheduled at Wembley Stadium will now be played in 2024, not 2023.
Ahead of that, St Petersburg will host in 2022 and Munich will do so the following year.
Confirming the return of Champions League football is a massive step towards normality resuming after the coronavirus pandemic.
Domestic leagues have already returned and it seems Europe's elite competition will now close a summer of sport.
It may not be ideal with all games going ahead behind-closed-doors, but it's better than what we could have expected a few months ago.
