Arsenal supporters weren’t expecting much in their return game against Manchester City on Wednesday.
But the Gunners actually made a decent account of themselves at the Etihad Stadium, coping well even after losing two players to injury in the opening 25 minutes.
And then David Luiz happened.
The Brazilian, who started on the bench, was introduced in place of the injured Pablo Mari and proceeded to produce a one-man horror show.
Moments before half-time, Luiz failed to make solid contact on a clearance and Raheem Sterling pounced to make it 1-0.
He wasn’t done, though.
Five minutes after the restart, Luiz conceded a penalty and was sent off after hauling down Riyad Mahrez inside the area.
It will have been a very lonely journey back to London for Luiz.
His disasterclass left Troopz from Arsenal Fan TV completely enraged.
The AFTV star went into meltdown, screaming: “Everyone knows you’re a clown!” and calling Luiz a Chelsea reject.
Warning: Troopz wasn’t afraid to use some profane language.
It’s nice having AFTV back after three months away, isn’t it?
Arsenal were on the receiving end of a 3-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
Sterling scored City's opener with his first goal in 2020 and the first of the Premier League's resumption.
Kevin De Bruyne then made Luiz pay for bringing Mahrez down from the penalty spot.
And Phil Foden secured all three points for Pep Guardiola's side late on.
So City looked good and Arsenal fans lost their heads. What's changed?
