Leeds United dealt Pablo Hernandez injury blow

Leeds United have been dealt a potentially huge injury blow ahead of their clash with Cardiff City this weekend.

The Whites return to Championship action after more than three months as they travel to South Wales hoping to get their promotion race back on track.

However according to Phil Hay, they may have to do it without Pablo Hernandez.

The midfielder is reportedly a doubt for the clash with the Bluebirds due to a 'niggle' which has proved troublesome over the last couple of days.

While the severity of the knock is not yet known, The Athletic's Leeds United writers says that he remains a doubt for Sunday's clash.

Jack Harrison opens door to Leeds United return

Jack Harrison has opened the door to a potential Leeds United return next season.

The Manchester City winger's loan deal ends at the end of the season, however he did hint that he'd be open to returning to Elland Road.

Speaking to Leeds Live, he said: “As a player, it’s hard for me to say why I wouldn’t want to come back here. For me, it’s been a great experience.

“The lads have been great, working with the coaching staff I’ve learnt a lot and just the club as a whole have really helped me out.

“There’s no reason why I should say ‘no I don’t want to be here next season.'"

Leeds United plot move for 19-year-old stopper

Leeds United are interested in a move for goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson.

According to Norwegian newspaper Dagsavisen, as quoted by Sports Witness, the Valerenga stopper is a long-term target of Marcelo Bielsa's side after they expressed an interest last summer.

Despite having a contract until 2022, the 19-year-old could be temped by a move to West Yorkshire should they come in with another bid this summer.
