Will he or won't he stay? That's the question surrounding Odsonne Edouard at the moment.
Neil Lennon will do all he can to keep him at Parkhead once the summer window concludes but that could very much be up to whether he signs a new contract.
His current terms expire in 2021 but Celtic are trying to get him to sign a new deal with fears emerging he could leave.
The Frenchman has been linked with a plethora of clubs in recent times, ranging from Arsenal and Leicester to Borussia Dortmund.
Seeing their 27-goal forward walk through the exit door would be an almighty blow to Lennon, not only because he's without a doubt their best player, but also because the Hoops are eyeing ten titles in a row.
Much of that could depend on Edouard and how well the Bhoys are able to replace him if he does depart.
Yet, on Thursday, there was some good news emerging surrounding his potential departure.

Edouard tipped for big new deal
Speaking in an interview with The Daily Record, former Celtic striker Jorge Cadete spoke about the future of Edouard.
The Portuguese, who played for the Hoops throughout one season in 1996/97, suggested the only way to keep him was by offering a huge sum of money to stay.
He stated: "To get top players, you need to pay top money. That’s how football works.
"He’s also brought them a lot of success so I think he deserves a bit extra in wages."
It certainly makes sense. After all, the French attacker not only topped their scoring charts this term but also won Celtic's Player of the Year award.
With exit talk a common theme at the moment, Cadete revealed what he'd do if he was in Edouard's shoes, urging him to stay at the club.
"What would I do? I would ask for a long-term contract and sign it. People are talking about one year. Why not five? He’s only 22. He won’t reach his peak as a player until 29.
“I know that clubs are interested in Edouard and he will have a lot of options this summer."
Obviously, tying the youngster down is easier said than done but he is certainly young enough to stay for a little longer and earn his big move further down the line.
Dortmund drop Edouard interest
Continuing the theme of the striker, there was a huge boost to Celtic's cause on Thursday.
That came in the form of a report from Sport 1 in Germany who confirmed that Borussia Dortmund were no longer interested in signing Edouard.
Before landing Erling Haaland, Lucien Favre's side were eyeing a deal but following the Coronarivus pandemic, he will cost the German outfit too much money.
It's rumoured the Hoops want €30m (£27m) for his services but that's deemed too high a price for Dortmund. That will come as pleasant news for Lennon and co but there is still fierce interest in the forward from the Premier League.
Of course, the possibility of moving across the border still lingers but the fact one team have already dropped out of the race is promising for the Glaswegians.a
Karbonwik latest
Celtic have been looking at the prospect of signing Aaron Hickey in the upcoming transfer window but there could well be an alternative.
That comes in the form of Legia Warsaw left-back Michael Karbonwik. Their interest first originated last month but there has now been an update on his possible price tag.
Reports in Sport (via The Daily Record) relayed quotes from former manager and fellow Pole Boguslaw Kaczmarek.
He spoke about Karbonwik's progression, detailing how playing him further forward in a number ten role could treble his value.
The 70-year-old admitted: "If he is a full-back, (Legia Warsaw) would earn five million euros from selling him. But if Legia sold him as a ‘number ten’, they would get ten or fifteen million euros.
“In my opinion, the optimal place for Karbownik is in the middle of the field. He could play the same roles as Joshua Kimmich at Bayern Munich or Marco Verratti at Paris Saint-Germain."
It's an interesting assessment to make given the 19-year-old has only played in that role twice throughout his fledgeling career.
A versatile player, the Pole has also featured at right-back and in central midfield. For Celtic's sake, though, they will have to hope he stays in defence. After all, Kaczmarek seems to reckon he'll cost €5m (£4.5m) if he remains at left-back.
