There’s no doubt Neymar has the ability to be one of the greatest players in world football.

The Brazilian is the most expensive player in world football and has played for two of the biggest clubs in European football - Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

But despite his incredible career, there’s a sense the 28-year-old has wasted a lot of his potential.

His recent injury troubles may just be down to bad luck but his off-field activities probably don’t help.

Like many Brazilian players, Neymar likes to party.

And back in February, he partied in style for his 28th birthday.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward held a lavish white party at the YoYo nightclub inviting teammates past and present.

But there was a strict rule other than the fact you had to wear white. Married stars partied on the top floor, while single players went downstairs.

That’s according to teammate Ander Herrera who, as you’d expect, wasn’t allowed downstairs by his wife.

Asked what happened at the party, the former Manchester United midfielder simply replied: “What didn't happen?!”

“The truth is that when he does something, he does it to have a good time. And he organised it to have a good time. And the truth is that I congratulated him.

“Of course, my wife would not let me go to the bathroom or go down [to the bottom floor].”

The likes of Angel di Maria, Mauro Icardi, Marco Verratti, Keylor Navas, Pablo Sarabia and Leonardo Paredes were all in attendance, as well as Brazil legend Kaka.

What we’d give to get an invite to Neymar’s 30th…
