Football may have been away for a few months - but some things never change.

Roy Keane, you’ll be delighted to hear, is still just as angry as ever before.

You wouldn’t expect anything less from the Manchester United legend.

Keane was on punditry duty on Sky Sports on Friday afternoon ahead of the Premier League double-header between Norwich v Southampton and Tottenham v Man Utd.

And it didn’t take the former midfielder long to unleash his fury in the direction of a footballer.

Just minutes into the show, Keane took a shot at Jack Grealish following Aston Villa’s 0-0 draw against Sheffield United on Wednesday.

Keane, who most recently worked as Nottingham Forest’s assistant manager, couldn’t understand why Grealish was laughing during such an important match for Villa.

“For Villa the other night, I got the impression that the draw wasn’t the end of the world," he began.

“Every time I looked at Grealish he was laughing. Listen: do you realise what’s at stake here?

“Because the supporters weren’t there, maybe the [Aston Villa players] felt the result doesn’t matter.

“Of course it matters, your career depends on it.”

You can understand Keane’s point of view - but do the Villa fans agree?

Let’s take a look…

Keane’s comments, as you can see, appear to have split opinion.

While some think this is just Roy Keane being Roy Keane, others are now questioning whether Grealish and his teammates *did* want victory enough earlier this week.

Speculation is rife that Grealish, 24, will leave Villa at the end of the season.

Man Utd are currently the bookmakers’ favourites to secure the attacking midfielder’s services.
