FC Porto are set to demand €30 million (£27.1m) for the signature of Jesus Corona this summer, per A Bola via Sport Witness.

Indeed, the Portuguese club want to receive the full amount of the winger’s asking price if he is to move on in the next transfer window.

Corona had a reduction in his release clause when he signed his most recent deal, with the previous contract containing a €50m (£45.2m) exit clause.

Everton and Wolves have both been credited with an interest in the Mexico international, who offers incredible versatility.

He can play as a right-back, on the left or the right of midfield, and as a right winger.

Corona has made 27 league appearances this season, scoring four goals and registering a total of 10 assists.

He is 27 and has also won 42 caps for Mexico.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

Both Everton and Wolves have the finances to match Corona’s release clause and one has to think that he could well be ready to make the step up.

He has been a loyal servant to the Portuguese giants, having joined them from FC Twente in 2015.

He has been a stand-out performer for Porto and clearly has all the attributes required to thrive in the Premier League.

This is a quick, skillful player whose versatility would appeal to any manager; namely Nuno Espirito Santo and Carlo Ancelotti.

At such a low fee, negotiations should already be ongoing.

Both Everton and Wolves ought to make this a priority.
