Manchester United were denied an injury-time penalty against Tottenham thanks to VAR.With the scores level at 1-1, Bruno Fernandes went down inside the box and referee Jon Moss pointed to the spot. However, after looking at VAR, it was clear that Eric Dier hadn't actually touched Bruno Fernandes and that it was a dive.Earlier in the second half, Paul Pogba came off the bench and produced a brilliant cameo performance to earn his side a point.Pogba hadn't made an appearance since December but had to make do with a place on the substitutes bench as United returned to action for the first time after the coronavirus pandemic. But after coming on in the 63rd-minute, Pogba helped change the match for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.Tottenham had taken the lead through Steven Bergwijn after 27 minutes. The Dutchman walked past Harry Maguire before his powerful shot found its way past David de Gea, who should have done much better. But after Pogba came on, it was one way traffic. He was soon linking up with Bruno Fernandes, creating a chance for Anthony Martial.

He then won his side a penalty after superb skill on Eric Dier before the Spurs man brought him down.

Fernandes took responsibility and equalised for the away side.

Pogba then showed his class once again with a quite superb half volley pass for Rashford late on.

But the match finished 1-1 as neither side could find a winner despite United thinking they had earned another penalty late on.
