Bernd Leno suffered what appeared to be an awful-looking knee injury during Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

The 28-year-old, who has been one of the Gunners’ standout performers this season, was stretchered off the pitch shortly before half-time after landing badly.

Leno sustained the injury following a challenge from Neal Maupay - and the German goalkeeper was furious with the Brighton forward.

As he was being stretchered off the pitch at the AMEX Stadium, Leno was seen pointing a finger at Maupay.

Leno was clearly letting the Frenchman know that he was responsible for the injury.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea sent this tweet to Leno shortly afterwards...
