Pedro Gonzalez Lopez, commonly known as Pedri, is not a player we expect you to have heard of.

The 17-year-old is at the beginning of his professional football career with Las Palmas in the Segunda Division, but he is very highly-rated talent over in Spain.

In fact, Pedri will be joining Barcelona on July 1 and after seeing his wonderful assist versus Lugo yesterday evening, it's safe to say the Blaugrana are signing a pretty special youngster.

The use of the word 'wonderful' probably isn't strong enough to describe Pedri's moment of magic on the Canary Islands.

That's because the talented midfielder managed to pull off a skill move that is so unique it may have to be named the 'Pedri flick' from now on.

The teenage starlet collects the ball on the edge of the box and proceeds to spin round and flick the ball with the outside of his foot around the defender before charging past him.

Pedri caps it all off with a well-executed low cross into the box for Ruben Castro to tap home, sealing a 1-0 win for Las Palmas.

Absolutely unreal! Shades of Real Madrid's Fernando Redondo humiliating Henning Berg at Old Trafford back in 2000.

It's also remarkably similar to Dimitar Berbatov's assist for Cristiano Ronaldo against West Ham, which you can watch below.

Barcelona paid €5m for Pedri last summer and the youngster's release clause will stand at €100m when he joins the club's B team in just under two weeks time.

Upon his promotion to the senior team - which looks very likely after seeing his skills against Lugo - that figure will rise to €400m.

This kid has got a big future ahead of him!
