Inter Milan want to sign Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker, per The Sun.

The 30-year-old remains one of City’s top players, making 22 Premier League appearances thus far this season, and he started the club’s 3-0 win over Arsenal last week.

Inter have made him one of their top targets, the report states, but City are not in a rush to sell him.

Indeed, The Sun claims that they will listen to offers for Joao Cancelo, who is valued at over £60 million.

Thus, there is unlikely to be a willingness to cash in on the former Tottenham Hotspur right-back, as it would necessitate City chasing two right-backs this summer.

Walker has lost his spot as England’s first-choice right-back thanks to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s emergence but he has won 48 caps for the Three Lions.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

This would be a really interesting step for Walker.

The Englishman has been a key part of City’s squad since his move from north London but a switch to Italy would see him taking on a new frontier.

Indeed, he has played in England for the entirety of his career to date.

It remains to be seen if City would be tempted to do business, but Inter have already convinced a number of Premier League stars to make the move, including Christian Eriksen and Romelu Lukaku.

Walker should not rule out such a move, especially if Inter are able to match City’s asking price.

After all, this would be a chance to sample a new league and a new lifestyle; those do not come around very often.
