Harry Kane could be a man in demand this summer.
There is every chance that Tottenham Hotspur could miss out on Champions League football this season, given that they are nine points off the top four and four points behind fifth-placed Manchester United.
Should Manchester City’s ban from the Champions League be upheld, a fifth-placed finish could secure qualification for Europe’s top division, but Spurs face an uphill battle to be in there.
Kane, then, may well see his future away from the club and Il Sussidiario interviewed former AS Roma scout Simone Canovi about the possibility of him moving to Serie A, given that he has, at times, been linked with Juventus.
If it seems tenuous, that may be because it is, and Canovi has said that the only clubs who could afford Kane are Real Madrid and, amazingly, Newcastle United.
Per Transfermarkt, he is valued at £108m, meaning that the signing of Kane would more than double their current club-record purchase of Joelinton at £40m.
Asked initially about Juventus, he replied: “When it comes to Juventus everything is possible, we know that the club is always able to make important purchases. But I don’t think they want to make such a big investment in this case.
“In fact, they are the only two clubs (Real and Newcastle) capable of taking Kane.
“With Newcastle having a very high economic budget with the Arab owners.”

Kane isn’t a slave.
The Spurs captain has the option of saying no, and one cannot imagine, at any point, that he would be open to a move to Newcastle.
It is a laughable option and, while they may well have the financial muscle to sign him if their takeover goes through, they don’t have much of a chance of convincing him to move.
Spurs are perennial Champions League qualifiers, and Kane has been a key part of that, scoring 181 goals in 279 appearances.
Real Madrid could work, certainly, but Kane’s wishes need to be taken into account here, too.
