Liverpool’s wait for their maiden Premier League title continues after results failed to go their way last week.Manchester City’s 3-0 victory over Arsenal meant the Reds couldn’t seal the title against local rivals Everton on Sunday evening. The Merseyside derby failed to live up to expectations as the two sides played out a tepid 0-0 draw, but it’s still a mere matter of time before Liverpool finally lift the trophy they’ve desperately craved for so long.Depending on the result of Man City’s clash against Burnley on Monday night, Jurgen Klopp’s side - who boast a 23-point lead over Pep Guardiola’s men at the time of writing - could be crowned champions of England if they defeat Crystal Palace on Wednesday. That fixture will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, whose advert for the game has raised football fans’ eyebrows.Watch it here…

As you can see, Crystal Palace don’t get a single mention until the very end of the advert. It’s all about Liverpool.

Now, you can understand why Sky Sports have done this. Liverpool are the big talking point, after all.

Palace, currently ninth in the table with 42 points, are on course for a mid-table finish.

Liverpool are quite clearly the story.

Despite that, football fans can’t get over how Liverpool-centric the advert is.

Let’s check out some of the reaction…

One thing’s certain: if Palace’s players see this advert, it will surely make them even more determined to spoil the party at Anfield later this week.

The two sides last met back in November at Selhurst Park.

Wilfried Zaha thought he’d sealed a point for the Eagles in the 82nd minute, cancelling out Sadio Mane’s opener.

But Roberto Firmino popped up with the winner shortly afterwards to seal the visitors all three points.
