Massive gap in spending

So, there you have it, the big six are called so for a reason: money, money and more money.

There's admittedly something of a drop off by the time you get to the north London clubs, but Liverpool are only one big signing away from joining City, United and Chelsea in the billionaire club.

But nothing sums up the discrepancy in spending across English football quite like the fact City (1st) and Coventry (50th) are separated by a gargantuan £1,387,620,000 in 10 years alone.

The beautiful game is the bountiful one, too.
