The Undertaker's legendary streak was broken by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30.
For an incredible 22 years, The Deadman was untouchable on the biggest stage of them all.
He was 21-0 at WrestleMania, but then he met The Beast in New Orleans.
Fans were left shocked when Brock secured the three count in the middle of the ring - was it a mistake? Should 'Taker have kicked out? Nobody knew.
Of course, we now know the match did go to plan. Lesnar snapped the streak, bringing to an end the greatest run in pro wrestling.
But it could have ended long before that. In fact, Vince McMahon wanted an unlikely star to break Undertaker's streak in 2006.
According to Bruce Pritchard, who was a member of WWE's creative team at the time, Vince was convinced Mark Henry, was ready to end the streak at WrestleMania 22.
"I was sitting at my desk in Houston and Vince calls me and says, 'I've got an idea. What do you think about ending Undertaker's streak?'" Prichard recalled in 2019, per WrestlingInc.
"I said, 'Well, with the right guy he's made.' He says, 'Goddamn, that big b***ard Mark Henry - he's ready!' There was silence.
"I'm like, 'Really?' Mark had been here 10 years and it wasn't anything against Mark, but I didn't think that Mark Henry beating and ending the streak would catapult him to the next level."
Despite Prichard's opposition, Undertaker himself actually reluctantly agreed that Henry could end his streak and the angle was actually planned out - before Vince got cold feet.
"[Undertaker] came back and said, 'OK, if that's what you guys want to do - if that's really what Vince wants' [I'll do it]" Pritchard continued.
"Vince, as we got closer to it, got cold feet I guess and just realised that maybe Mark wasn't ready at that time for it.
"I don't know that there was a real solid plan on the other side either to make it work. [Paul] Heyman hated it. I don't know anybody that was like, 'Wooo Hooo! Let's go do this,' other than Vince.
"Sometimes you just got to try s*** on and throw it out there. Sometimes you throw it out there and you need to just throw it the f*** away, too, but that's how we got there."
How different things could have been. Of course, the streak was always going to end, but it was never going to sit well with fans, no matter who broke it.
