David de Gea received plenty of criticism for his role in Steven Bergwijn’s goal for Tottenham on Friday.Bergwijn ran past Harry Maguire and fired a powerfully shot straight at De Gea.But the Spanish goalkeeper couldn’t keep the ball out as Spurs took the lead against United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It left Roy Keane absolutely fuming at half-time, calling De Gea “the most overrated goalkeeper” he’s seen in a long time."I'm sick to death of this goalkeeper,” Keane said."I would be fighting him at half-time, I would be swinging punches at that guy. I am flabbergasted. I wouldn't even let them on the bus after the match. Get a taxi back to Manchester. De Gea is the most overrated goalkeeper I've seen in a long, long time.”

Of course, Keane wasn’t just reacting to that one mistake. It’s clearly something that has been frustrating him for a couple of seasons now with De Gea making several mistakes in recent years.

In fact, De Gea has underperformed so much that many United fans will be looking at Dean Henderson - who is on-loan at Sheffield United - and suggesting he should be the club’s No.1 next season.

However, there’s only one opinion that really matters and that’s the manager of the Red Devils.

And Ole Gunnar Solskajer thinks that, although Henderson has a bright future, he claims that De Gea is still the best goalkeeper in the world.

"I don't think it is a bad run when you concede two goals in seven games, which included matches against Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Everton. Everton was a freak goal," said Solskjaer.

On Friday he might have saved it, he might not. But he makes great saves for us. He wins games for us. I still think he is best goalkeeper in the world.

Best in the world?

What about Alisson? What about Jan Oblak? What about Marc-Andre ter Stegen?

Give your head a wobble, Ole.

When asked about Henderson’s performances, Solskjaer didn’t deny that he’s the club’s future No.1.

"He has had a fantastic season. One day he will be England and United number one."
