Manchester United boosted their hopes of a top four finish with a 3-0 win over Sheffield United on Wednesday.

Anthony Martial scored a hat-trick as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United sealed their first win since the Premier League’s return to action.

The Red Devils looked very impressive, particularly going forwards. Martial now has 19 goals for the season while Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba impressed in their first start together.

If this is the new United, then their supporters can be excited about the future.

Mason Greenwood also got plenty of minutes, with Solskjaer gifting the teenager a start.

And to see Martial bag a hat-trick also left fans delighted.

Remarkably, it was United's first hat-trick in a Premier League game since Robin van Persie netted three against Aston Villa in 2013.

That's seven years ago!

It was just a shame that there were no fans in attendance to see it.
