When Willian scored that penalty to put Chelsea 2-1 ahead against ten-man Manchester City, thoughts turned to Liverpool.
They were about to be crowned Premier League champions for the first ever time and end their 30-year wait for a league title.
What were the players doing? Were they watching the game? Were they all by themselves? Where would they party?
Don’t worry, they had it all sorted.
The entire squad and staff had gathered at a hotel and were watching on as Chelsea did them a big favour.
Videos soon emerged of the players celebrating Willian’s goal and then counting down to full-time before it all became official.
Now, it was party time.
A few players conducted TV interviews but many of them were gatecrashed by their teammates who just wanted to celebrate.
And once media duties had been done, we’re sure quite a lot of champagne was flowing as Liverpool players partied long into the night.
In fact, videos have started emerging of the party.
This morning, Trent Alexander-Arnold posted a video of what appears to be the entire squad partying in style.
It looks like some party.
We wonder what time it went on until.
Liverpool’s next game isn’t until next Thursday when they will face Manchester City at the Etihad.
