So Liverpool have finally secured the Premier League trophy. We all knew the Reds would be champions at some point this season, but they mathematically sealed their dominance last night after Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Manchester City. It's the first time in 30 years that Liverpool have reigned supreme in English football and it means Jurgen Klopp has fulfilled the promise he made upon joining the Merseyside outfit nearly five years ago.At his first press conference in late 2015, the German manager said: "Last night we signed the contract and this morning I wake and I'm manager of Liverpool FC."Please give us time to do the work but when I sit here in four years I think we may have one title."If not maybe [I'll win] the next one in Switzerland!"After just less than four years, he secured the club's sixth Champions League trophy and a year later, he's brought an end to a league title drought that many Liverpool fans thought would never end.But around the time of that very press conference, the Reds faithful were not exactly sold on the idea of Klopp as manager. The replies to Sky Sports' tweet announcing the German's arrival look absolutely ridiculous in the present day and we've provided some of the best below.
