Manchester United head into the summer transfer window with uncertainty hanging over them.
They are currently fifth in the Premier League table but there is no clarity yet on whether they will be playing European football in 2020/21.
United have taken 49 points from 31 games, level with Wolverhampton Wanderers and four ahead of seventh-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
They are also five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, though a fifth-placed finish may be enough to qualify for the Champions League, as Manchester City are set to be banned from next season’s competition.
Should they qualify, United are likely to be busy in this summer’s transfer window, as links with Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho continue to circulate.
However, former Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood believes that the club should be looking to make a move for Jack Grealish, the star of the Midlands club, this summer.
Per The Sun, he said: "I look at that squad now and I think they’re two or three players short of challenging for the title.
"I think they need another striker...
"I think they need Jack Grealish, who is a brilliant player to have when teams sit back against them like Tottenham did the other evening.
"He can occupy the tight areas and create something.
"I think they need another centre-back as cover.
"If they can get that and they have the money to go out and buy those sort of players then I think they’ll be real challengers.
"I think [Ole Gunnar Solskjaer] done a brilliant building job."

Grealish would be a superb option for United.
A homegrown English talent with the ability to unlock defences, score excellent goals, and carry the ball, the 24-year-old is a truly exceptional performer.
He has been raging against the dying of the light during is time at Villa this season, netting nine goals in all competitions and registering eight assists in all competitions.
Dean Smith’s men are 19th, level on points with 17th-placed West Ham United, and have eight games in which to save their status as a top-flight team.
Should they drop through the trapdoor, one has to assume that he will be all the more attainable.
Villa have valued Grealish at £80 million, per reports, but that fee could fall if Smith’s men are relegated.
