8. Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool | November 23, 2019

Champions are built from matches like this.

Liverpool were on course for three more points when Sadio Mane put them ahead at Selhurst Park but Wilfried Zaha levelled with just eight minutes remaining.

With Mo Salah left on the bench due to an ankle problem, Klopp was without one of his best attacking options.

But Firmino poked home from a corner just three minutes after Zaha’s goal to restore Liverpool’s lead and seal the win.

7. Liverpool 2-1 Leicester City | October 5, 2019

Liverpool needed another late goal to defeat Leicester last year.

James Maddison thought he had snatched a point when he made it 1-1 with 10 minutes to go, but Liverpool dug deep and won a penalty late on when Marc Albrighton brought Mane down.

In the fifth minute of injury-time, James Milner stepped up score from the spot and highlight the relentless of this Liverpool team.

6. Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United | January 19, 2020

4. Aston Villa 1-2 Liverpool | November 2, 2019

But Klopp’s men struggled to find a way through after falling behind in the first half.

It wasn’t until the 87th minute when they made it 1-1 through Andy Robertson’s header and Liverpool then went in search of a winner.

And they got one, with Mane glancing a header beyond Tom Heaton to seal a dramatic win.

This was a fun one for Liverpool supporters.

A crushing win over Everton saw the Toffees drop into the relegation zone and brought about Marco Silva’s dismissal.

And Liverpool did it without Salah or Firmino, both of whom were left on the bench.

Divock Origi stepped up in their absence with a brace.

1. Liverpool 3-1 Manchester City | November 10, 2019

The game that showed Liverpool could actually become champions.

And they did just that with a brilliant attacking display.

Fabinho got the ball rolling when he scored in the sixth minute and goals from Salah and Mane gave the hosts an unassailable lead.

The result moved Liverpool nine points ahead of City and there was no stopping them after this.
