Manchester United have a number of excellent young talents coming through their ranks.

The likes of Marcus Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes all look to have remarkably exciting futures.

The latter, though, has a deal that expires on June 30th, meaning United face a race against time to tie Gomes down.

Thus far in his United career, he has made 10 senior appearances for the club, playing three times in the Europa League in 2019/20.

And Sport Witness now carry a report from Mundo Deportivo claiming that his future is yet to be secured by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.

Indeed, the England U20 international has been linked with a move to Barcelona as his options open up.

Sport Witness also claim that the report makes it clear that PSG are also interested.

It remains to be seen if Gomes will end up committing his future to the Old Trafford giants but this kind of interest can only strengthen his hand in negotiations.

Gomes has won six caps for the U20s, scoring twice.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

United have to keep Gomes.

He is a dazzling dribbler, a brilliant playmaker who can work between the lines and score and create.

At the age of 19, he is a truly prodigious talent and United are understandably treading carefully with his game time.

They need to make sure that continues and that he commits his future to the club so that his development can continue.

Losing him would be a truly bitter blow.
