As a result, Jurgen Klopp's men have the unprecedented privilege of enjoying champion status despite there still being seven game-weeks to play.

In terms of the last record, Liverpool can mathematically amass 107 points before the campaign is out, which would move them more than two wins above Manchester City's original centurions.
