Jadon Sancho is going to be a big talking point this summer.

The 20-year-old is one of the worlds' hottest prospects at the moment after an impressive time with Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho has scored 20 and created 20 in just 43 appearances so far this term, proving that he's very much the real deal at the highest level of the game.

That has led to plenty of interest in his services, most notably from Manchester United.

Reports have previously suggested that United would need to offer in excess of £100million, however according to Christian Falk of German publication Bild, he may now be available for just £90million.

That is still likely to be beyond Manchester United's transfer budget for the summer, meaning that the club may have to find a way to raise such funds.

According to the Daily Express, this could mean selling four first team stars to fund a deal.

Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Andreas Pereira are all contenders to be moved on this summer, as per the instructions of Ed Woodward.

All five players appear to be at the end of their time at Old Trafford after falling out of favour, meaning that they're likely to be available for permanent moves this summer.

Given the financial impact of the current global pandemic, however, it remains to be seen whether a buyer will be found for them.

But if they're to fund a move for Jadon Sancho, it seems that the Red Devils will have no choice.

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

What a signing this would be for Manchester United.

Jadon Sancho is no 'flavour of the month' player, he's a prospect who has the potential to become one of the best players in world football.

What he has done since moving to Borussia Dortmund is hugely impressive, and if he can take those performances into the new season then he's got to be considered as one of the top 10 players on the planet.

If United can secure such a signing it will be a massive signal of intent that they plan to take themselves back to the top of the game.

Whether that can be done remains to be seen, but if they can pull it off then they'll certainly be much closer to their former glory.
