Manchester United look to be gearing up for quite a summer in the transfer market.

A number of high profile stars have been linked with a move to the club, with Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham and Kai Havertz among the players targeted.

All three are likely to cost a small fortune, but represent good financials sense given the fact that they're almost guaranteed to increase in value.

Another man who has been linked is Jack Grealish.

The midfielder has very much established himself as the talisman of Dean Smith's side after guiding the team back to the Premier League.

But after facing a relegation battle this time around, it seems that the 24-year-old's days at Villa Park are numbered.

Reports claim that regardless of whether Villa avoid the drop this term, he'll likely seek pastures new as he looks to fulfil his potential in the top flight.

It's reported that Manchester United are the favourites to sign the midfielder, who could cost in the region of £80million to sign.

While no move is yet confirmed, Grealish has reported dropped a massive hint over his summer move.

According to The Express, the midfielder has found a house to buy in the north-west, fuelling speculation over his move to Old Trafford.

While £80million is the price being quoted, it's thought that Aston Villa could consider a smaller amount should they be relegated from the Premier League.

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

News of his likely departure is bound to be a huge blow to Villa supporters.

Jack Grealish epitomises exactly what Aston Villa is about as a local lad who has gone on to become a talisman to his hometown club.

Losing him will be a massive blow, but it is understandable.

Grealish has outgrown Aston Villa and deserves the opportunity to challenge himself at a higher level of the game.

He's a big-game player and that means that I have no doubt of his ability to make it a top level club.

Providing that Aston Villa receive a good fee, I think it's probably the best thing for all parties.
