With six matches left to play, Real Madrid boast have a two-point lead and a superior head-to-head record over Barcelona. It’s now their title to lose.

Messi will, of course, to everything in his power to ensure Barça finish the season above Madrid.

But some curious footage has emerged - courtesy of Movistar El Partidazo - which shows the club captain allegedly ignoring Barcelona’s assistant coach Eder Sarabia.

In the clip, taken from the drinks break, we see the masked Sarabia looking and speaking at Messi, who appears to take no notice of the coach.

The footage doesn’t look great and has led to speculation in the Spanish press - including AS and Mundo Deportivo - that tension exists between Messi and Barcelona’s coaching staff.

It’s no secret that Messi, arguably the greatest footballer of all time, is the most powerful figure at Camp Nou.

And if he doesn’t see eye-to-eye with Sarabia then it almost certainly means that Barcelona’s current No. 2 won’t be at the club for much longer.

That said, Quique Setien also faces a battle to save his own job if Barça fail to win La Liga or the Champions League.
