Ex-Arsenal forward Paul Merson believes Arsene Wenger's current crop have 'no chance' of winning the Barclays Premier League this season.
A run of three points from three outings has seemingly curtailed Arsenal's chances of landing a first league title since 2004, while the north Londoners also crashed out of the Champions League and lost the Carling Cup final in quick succession.
Manchester United are currently in pole position in the league - seven points clear of Arsenal - and, although the Gunners retain a game-in-hand over their rivals, Merson does not expect a revival from his former club.
"They have got no chance," he said.
"I was really bullish about them five weeks ago but now you have to question them.
"They have just dropped too many easy points. I think it's all down to a lack of winning mentality."
Arsenal travel to Blackpool on Sunday hoping for a first league win since February 23.
