A number of clubs are interested in signing Ben White from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer, per Football Insider.

White has spent the entirety of the season on loan at Leeds United but his future has yet to be decided.

He has played just twice for the Seagulls and it seems as though he will be moving on this summer.

Football Insider reports that intermediaries working on behalf of the Premier League club have told potential suitors that he would cost in excess of £35 million to buy this summer.

The report states that Liverpool are one of the clubs leading the queue as they look to strengthen a backline that has just won the Premier League title.

However, they are not alone, with Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Leicester City all said to be keeping tabs on the 22-year-old.

There is also a likelihood that Leeds will attempt to secure his signature too, particularly if they are promoted to the Premier League.

He has been superb for the Whites this season, playing every minute of the campaign, and is adept at playing in central defence and in defensive midfield.

A previous Football Insider report has claimed that the club’s scouts have been blown away by White’s performances in the Championship.

White had been on loan at Newport County and Peterborough United before his move to Leeds.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

White’s performances this term have been nothing short of exemplary.

Across his 39 games this season, he has averaged 1.8 tackles per game in the league, along with 2.3 interceptions, 2.9 clearances, and just 0.9 fouls, per WhoScored.

He also wins 2.8 aerial duels per game and has a passing accuracy of 85.1%, even providing two assists this term.

The defender is a superb player who is seemingly ready to make the jump to life in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen if Jurgen Klopp would be willing to give White regular first-team football given that he has Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez to call upon in central defence, along with Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren.

But one has to think that he would jump at the chance to play at Anfield.
