Hakim Ziyech bids farewell to Ajax today.

The Moroccan playmaker sealed a move to Chelsea halfway through the 2019/20 season and he will now join up with his new team tomorrow.

Ziyech's stock in the footballing world has risen rapidly over the past two to three years, with his performances in the Champions League with Ajax catching the eye in particular.

The 27-year-old leaves Amsterdam with 48 goals and 82 assists to his name in just 165 appearances in all competitions.

His highlight reel from his time with Ajax is also pretty darn incredible. The Dutch side uploaded a 22-minute video of Ziyech at his best to their official YouTube channel today.

The 'Wizard of AMS' has scored some cracking goals, played some mind-bending passes and produced some outrageous skills down the years.

So Chelsea fans, get yourself a cuppa, sit back, relax and watch your future playmaking superstar weave his magic!

Players who make professional football look that easy are worth their weight in gold.

The signing of Ziyech could prove key in turning Frank Lampard's young Chelsea side into potential  Premier League winners.

Throughout 2019/20, the Blues have missed a player with the cutting edge and passing range that Ziyech undoubtedly possesses.

Mason Mount has often been tasked with producing the goods, but the Englishman simply isn't up to the task of being an elite-level playmaker.

But in Ziyech, they have one of the very best. The prospect of the Moroccan linking up with fellow new signing Timo Werner is a mouthwatering one on paper as well.

When you factor in the likes of Christian Pulisic, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Chelsea's potential starting XI for 2020/21 is one that will give opposing defenders nightmares.

However, you do just never know how players from the Eredivisie will adapt to the Premier League and it's, of course, far from a certainty that Ziyech will be a hit on English shores.
