It'll be fascinating to see what business Leeds conclude once the summer transfer window opens.

Providing they're promoted, a wealth of riches could be on the cards, leading to a heavy spending spree.

Though, if another season in the Championship beckons, they could be tied down by financial fair play.

The Whites were forced into signing players strictly on loan last summer, although they do have permanent outlays to potentially fulfil for Helder Costa, Illan Meslier and Jack Harrison.

That's not forgetting Jean-Kevin Augustin too, a man who's only played just three times since arriving at Elland Road.

However, regardless of whether they go up, Leeds are set to announce a mega-money deal in the not too distant future.

That's according to The Athletic's Phil Hay who claims a new sponsorship agreement is on the cusp of being announced.

Bielsa

Earlier this year it was revealed that Leeds had agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with kit manufacturer Adidas, but the club itself had yet to announce it.

However, when asked by a fan about when it may finally be concluded, Hay responded during his Q&A with the following answer:

"The original plan was to announce Adidas either just before or after the very last game. Given all the delays etc it's possible that might change but either way, you won't have long to wait."

Leeds

Kappa are Leeds' current kit suppliers but with their deal coming to an end, it's suggested that Adidas and the Whites have put pen to paper on an agreement for the upcoming seasons.

This is the first deal of it's kind at Leeds since 2015.

GIVEMESPORT'S Matt Dawson says...

This is a major show of ambition and pulling power from Leeds and credit must go to Andrea Radrizzani for negotiating a deal of this sort.

The Daily Mail noted earlier this year that the agreement was a lucrative deal, one that would see the Yorkshire club don the famous three Adidas stripes for the first time in their history.

The fact the manufacture are willing to engage in business with the Whites is clearly a sign that they're starting to rise to prominence again, something achieved through the wonderful work of Marcelo Bielsa.

The Argentine has taken Leeds from mid-table mediocrity to the verge of the Premier League and without him, you have to wonder whether deals like this would be feasible.

Radrizzani is a divisive figure at Elland Road but this is an obvious sign of trying to improve Leeds for the better.

If they secure more money from Adidas than they did with Kappa, it can only be a good thing.
