Lamborghini have teamed up with boat makers The Italian Sea Group to create a new slick, powerful yacht.
With two V12 engines each producing 2,000 horsepower, it is safe to say the new yacht is immensely powerful. This allows the boat to gain speed of up to 70mph (60 knots).
On top of this, the 63-foot-long yacht will be made mainly from carbon-fibre, meaning it will be ultra-lightweight.
The design of a classic Lamborghini has been mimicked by creators, with a clustered display, along with the same steering wheel used in the supercars.
It has been named the 'Tecnomar 63', referencing Lamborghini’s founding in 1963. It’s safe to say that Lamborghini are a premium brand, and the new boat is no different.
With only 63 of these being manufactured, and a hefty price tag, it will realistically only be available to the richest in the world.
Lamborghini are not the first car manufacturers to wade into the waters. Brands such as Aston Martin, Porsche and Lexus have all designed boats of their own, and now Lamborghini have decided to join them in the seas.
Ahead of its release, Lamborghini CEO and chairman Stefano Domenicali said: "This yacht represents the significance of creating a valuable partnership, at its best: our co-operation allows the essence of both organisations' style and expertise to be transferred to different worlds, sharing in their diversity to interpret and add value to the final product in a new environment."
At the official unveiling of the yacht, Domenicali stated: "If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on water, this would be my vision. I'm delighted to celebrate this successful collaboration.”
Meanwhile, The Italian Sea Group’s CEO Giovanni Costantino declared: "Selected owners around the world will own not only the fastest Tecnomar motor yacht in the fleet, but a Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 masterpiece.
"I'm proud that we have chosen to create this innovative and challenging project with Automobili Lamborghini, which links technology, supreme design, quality and performance."
