The race to become Scottish champions next year is already very much underway.
While Rangers have aspirations of kicking on next term and providing viable competition, the target at Parkhead is much more ambitious.
Coming away as Champions next term will mean that Celtic have made in 10 titles in a row - something that their rivals will certainly find difficult to stomach.
However if the Bhoys are to do that then they'll need to make sure that they make a success of the summer's transfer market.
Unfortunately it seems that they've been dealt an early blow in their summer efforts.
According to reports from Belgian publication Het Laaste Nieuws, Celtic have missed out on the signing of Lars Dendoncker.
The defensive midfielder, who is the brother of Wolves star Leander Dendoncker, has reportedly agreed a two-year deal to join Brighton this summer.
Goal had reported that the Bhoys and Wolverhampton Wanderers were both linked with a move for the 19-year-old who is available on a free transfer this summer after failing to agree a contract extension with Club Brugge.
It was also claimed that Inter Milan and Roma were both interested in a move.
GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...
What a coup this could be for Brighton.
The 19-year-old is an extremely promising talent after breaking through at Club Brugge.
With no new deal agreed with the Belgian side, it was a huge compliment for him to attract such a plethora of interest from around Europe.
Celtic and Wolves will have fancied their chances of signing the player, but it's the Seagulls who look like they've won the race.
Graham Potter has been particularly good at handing first team opportunities to young players, and that may have played a part in getting this deal done.
