Barcelona needed to beat Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night to apply the pressure to Real Madrid in La Liga’s title race. They had led 2-1 in the second half but Saul’s second penalty of the match made it 2-2 with half an hour remaining.Manager Quique Setien would have looked towards his bench and wondered which players could win the match for his side.Within seconds, Sergi Roberto replaced Ivan Rakitic. But with five minutes remaining, Barca were still drawing 2-2 as they desperately looked for the win. Surely it was time for £108 million star Antoine Griezmann. But instead, Setien turned to 17-year-old Ansu Fati.Only in injury-time did the under-fire manager turn to Griezmann but it was far too late.It seems the Frenchman is set to join a long list of failed signings. In fact, Griezmann has already made his way onto our list of Barcelona's 10 worst signings in the last 10 years - and there are plenty of them! But who else makes the list? Let’s take a look:

10 | Alex Song | £15 million

Song joined Barca from Arsenal in 2012 but only made 65 appearances before joining West Ham.

He will always be remembered for thinking Carles Puyol was giving him the La Liga trophy when he was attempting to hand it to Eric Abidal, who recently returned from a liver transplant.

9 | Aleix Vidal | £13.8 million

Only made 15 league starts for Barcelona and wasn’t a very good back-up to Dani Alves.

8 | Jeremy Mathieu | £16 million

Mathieu spent three years at the Camp Nou before leaving on a free transfer. That just about sums it up.

7 | Antoine Griezmann | £108 million

Thirty two league games, eight goals. Not the return you want from the £108m man. When you’re not bringing him on until injury-time in a match you desperately need to win, you know there’s something seriously wrong.

6 | Paco Alcacer | £27 million

The striker looked decent at Borussia Dortmund but he was never going to get a look in with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar ahead of him. He scored 15 in 50 appearances.

5 | Ousmane Dembele | £112.5 million

Attitude problems and injury problems sums up Dembele’s Barcelona career. He’s managed 12 goals in 51 appearances but the 23-year-old will be hoping to turn it around when he recovers from injury.

4 | Arda Turan | £24 million

Turan was brilliant for Atletico Madrid but started just 23 league games over two seasons at Barca. He was loaned out to Istanbul Basaksehir, where he received a 16-match ban for pushing an assistant referee.

Meanwhile, in September, he was jailed for two years and eight months due to his involvement in an altercation at an Istanbul nightclub - he will be put behind bars if he commits another crime in the next five years.

3 | Andre Gomes | £45.8 million

Impressed at Everton but Gomes has to be considered as a pretty expensive flop with just three goals in two seasons at Barcelona.

2 | Malcom | £36.5 million

Remember when Malcom signed for Roma and then Barcelona stole him?

Bet they wish they didn’t bother because he played just 15 times in the league during the 2018/19 season, scoring once. The 23-year-old is now on loan at Zenit Saint Petersburg.

1 | Philippe Coutinho | £145 million

ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE MILLION.

For that, Coutinho has returned 13 goals in 52 La Liga appearances. With Bayern Munich seemingly not wanting him, the Brazilian’s career is at a crossroads.

Due to the price, he’s got to be considered as Barcelona’s worst signing in the last 10 years.
