Frank Lampard lamented his side’s defending as Chelsea were stunned by West Ham on Wednesday. The Hammers won the London derby 3-2, with Andriy Yarmolenko scoring a late winner to settle the match and give Chelsea’s hopes of finishing in the top four a scare."We dominated the game in terms of possession, but make mistakes and teams will hurt you,” Lampard told BBC Sport.“I’m not happy with any of the goals. You don't get given victories for scoring two goals, you have to be better than that.”Sky Sports co-commentator Gary Neville criticised Marcos Alonso for his role in Yarmolenko’s goal, but Antonio Rudiger hasn’t found himself excused of any of the blame.Rudiger has been slammed as being at fault for all three goals, with one Chelsea fan breaking it down on Twitter…Indeed, just take a look at this defending while the Blues were 1-0 up. West Ham levelled from the resulting corner. No wonder Chelsea fans are mad. Then, in the 90th minute, he allowed Yarmolenko to cut inside to score West Ham’s third goal. The Ukrainian rarely uses his right foot, so it was expected that he would try to cut inside. Rudiger should have done more to stop that.

Overall it was a night to forget for Lampard and his players.

The result leaves Chelsea now watching over their shoulders, with Manchester United and Wolves just two points back of fourth place.

With six games remaining in the Premier League, Lampard has called for more consistency.

"If you don't get details right in big games, you're going to drop points,” he added.

“At times we have played really well this season. As a group we need to find more consistency."
