Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in signing QPR attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze this summer, sources have told GIVEMESPORT.

Spurs are making plans for the upcoming transfer window and are hopeful of strengthening Jose Mourinho’s squad in the coming months.

Mourinho has already asked chairman Daniel Levy to secure Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli this summer as back-up to Harry Kane, per sources.

And Eze has now emerged as another possible target.

One source within the club has told GMS that Spurs’ recruitment team “love” the 22-year-old and the way he plays.

Mourinho is also understood to admire the attacking midfielder, who has enjoyed an exceptional season in the Championship.

An England U21 international who can play on the left wing as well as in the No.10 role, Eze has scored 12 goals and registered eight assists thus far this season, with the west London club currently 15th in the second-tier.

Eze has become something of a mainstay in the QPR team and has made over 100 appearances at a tender age.

His contract expires in 2021, however, and he has also been the subject of interest from the likes of Newcastle United and West Ham United.

Spurs, though, could test the waters with a summer bid; sources at Spurs believe that he will be available for the right price this summer, as QPR would be loathe to lose him on a free transfer at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.

Transfermarkt values Eze at £8.1 million.

Elsewhere, Mourinho has been recommended the South Korea international defender Kim Min-Jae by scouts within the club.

The 23-year-old currently plays for Beijing Guoan and has won 30 caps for his country.

It is understood that Spurs are currently exploring the viability of a move for the defender, who would offer cover and fill the squad spot that is likely to be left by Jan Vertonghen’s departure upon the expiration of his contract.

No decision has yet been taken on whether to commit to a summer bid for the player, however.
