Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson’s feud has escalated further ahead of their Las Vegas boxing showdown in September 2021, with ‘The Beast’ claiming that he 'wouldn’t p*** on him if he was on fire'.

Earlier this year, the Icelandic giant sparked tensions with Hall, accusing him of cheating to claim the World’s Strongest Man title back in 2017 - despite video footage showing no foul play.

Tensions rose further between the two strongmen in May, when Games of Thrones star Bjornsson broke Hall’s 500kg deadlift world record by a single kilogram.

After breaking the record, ‘The Mountain’ taunted Hall, saying: “So Eddie, I just knocked out your record, and now I’m ready to knock you out in the ring. Time to put your fists where your big mouth is."

Hall accepted Thor’s fight offer, saying that he was “1,000 per cent” going to sign CoreSport’s fight papers - “because you called me a cheat."

Speaking on Wednesday to The Mac Life, Hall added more flames to the fire: “Me and Hafthor have been big-time competitors for a long time.

“We’ve got a hell of a history competing against one another.

We absolutely f***ing despise each other beyond belief. If he was on fire I wouldn’t p*** on him.

“The hatred is 100 per cent real. If I saw Thor face-to-face it would take a lot for me not to punch him in the face.

“When the boxing came around it was a no-brainer. I get to settle a score and make a few quid, it’s a win-win.

“I know I’m going to win because I’m going to give it my all, and if I’m confident then you’re f*****.

“At WSM 2017, I had already spent the prize money - that’s my mindset for this fight.

“If Eddie Hall is confident you better turn the other way and f*** off because I’m going to f***ing beat you.

“He can come in all guns blazing, he can think the advantage of height and reach will give him that edge - it isn’t.

“Thor, this is my message to you: you are f*****. I’m going to fold you in f***ing half."

If their war of words is anything to go by, the two fighters are set for a brutal showdown in Nevada next year.
