So Leroy Sane is officially a Bayern Munich player. The lightning-quick winger made it clear for a while that he would not sign a new deal with Manchester City and Pep Guardiola's side finally granted him permission to return to his homeland. It's a signing of serious intent from the Bundesliga champions and the signing only cost the Bavarian club £54.8m, which is kind of a bargain due to the fact that Sane is thought of by most as a £100m+ player. The arrival of the 24-year-old also further strengthens Bayern's stunning contingent of talented players aged 25 or under. In fact, you can now create an entire Bayern XI of players from that age group and we're not joking, it's scarily good.Hansi Flick's team are probably the most exciting team on the planet right now and the best is still yet to come!

Bayern Munich's XI of players aged 25 or under

GK - Alexander Nubel, 23

Bayern moved quickly to snap up Manuel Neuer's heir from Schalke. This guy has a huge future ahead of him.

RB - Benjamin Pavard, 24

Capable of playing right-back or centre-back, the Frenchman has established himself as one of the best defenders in Europe in 2019/20.

Pavard in action

CB - Niklas Sule, 24

Prior to picking up a serious injury, Sule really looked the real deal at the heart of Bayern's back-line. He is without the future of both Bayern and Germany's defence for years to come.

CB - Lucas Hernandez, 24

It's been a difficult debut season in Germany for Hernandez, but once he fully settles and avoids injury, he'll all but certainly become a mainstay in the team.

LB - Alphonso Davies, 19

The most exciting young defender in world football. Honestly, we've run out of superlatives to describe the Canadian, as he just adds so much in both attack and defence.

Davies in action

CM - Joshua Kimmich, 25

Probably one of the best three central midfielders in world football right now. The guy can even play at both right-back and centre-back to a world-class standard.

CM - Corentin Tolisso, 25

Like Hernandez, the going hasn't been easy for Tolisso in Bavaria. Injuries have played a massive part and if he can get fit over the summer, Bayern will have a heck of a player on their hands.

CM - Leon Goretzka, 25

The former Schalke man seriously bulked up during German football's temporary suspension and returned to action like a man possessed. There aren't any better box-to-box midfielders in the world right now.

Goretzka with the Bundesliga trophy

RW - Serge Gnabry, 24

From West Brom flop to one of the best forwards on the planet. The 2019/20 Bundesliga season saw Gnabry score 12 goals and notch 11 assists in just 30 appearances.

ST - Joshua Zirkzee, 19

The Dutchman is one the most talented young strikers around and is the perfect back-up for Robert Lewandowski. Zirkzee's nine Bundesliga appearances in 2019/20 yielded four goals and one assist, impressive stuff.

LW - Leroy Sane, 24

Sane completes the XI and on paper, it's a team more than capable of not only winning the Bundesliga - but challenging for the Champions League.

Bayern's XI

HONOURABLE MENTIONS:

Kingsley Coman, 24

That's right, Bayern will be able to create an XI of players aged 25 or under in 2020/21 so good that Coman misses out. Madness, right?

Tanguy Kouassi, 18

Bayern snapped up the French centre-back on a free transfer from PSG a few days ago and it already looks like a masterstroke.

Mickael Cuisance, 20

The French midfielder is currently on the fringes of the Bayern first-team and the talent is certainly there. Just look at how he opened his Bundesliga account on the final day of the season below!

GIVEMESPORT'S Danny Ryan says...

The plethora of young talent Bayern will unleash upon the footballing world in 2019/20 is ridiculous, to say the least.

If they manage to add a young player like Kai Havertz - or a starlet of similar ilk - to their roster, there's no telling how far Flick's side can go in the coming years.

In the past six months, Bayern's improvement has been magnificent and only Liverpool and Manchester City can lay claim to being a more complete team right now.

Flick with Bayern

But with an experienced core and younger stars ready to hit their prime years, the German champions have the potential to elevate themselves above the Premier League duo in the next couple of years.

It's a very, very exciting time to be a Bayern fan!
