Cristiano Ronaldo had a bizarre reaction to chat with Maurizio Sarri vs Torino

Cristiano Ronaldo was the star of the show during Juventus' 4-1 win over Torino on Saturday night.

The Old Lady consolidated their lead at the Serie A summit with a comfortable victory in the Derby della Mole, racing into an early 2-0 lead courtesy of Paulo Dybala and Juan Cuadrado.

Andrea Belotti then ensured that Gianluigi Buffon wouldn't collect a clean sheet on his record 648th appearance in Italy's top flight, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.

A Koffi Djidji own goal eventually wrapped up the 4-1 win late on, but the game will be remembered for Juve's third and it proved to be an incredibly cathartic moment for the aforementioned Ronaldo.

The Portuguese superstar finally scored his first free-kick in the colours of Juventus with a brilliant top corner effort, ending a drought in club football that dates back to December 2017.

It also saw him become the first player in history to ever score 25 league goals within a single season in Serie A, La Liga and the Premier League.

Oh, one more thing, it also moved Ronaldo to 16 consecutive Serie A games in which he'd either scored a goal or turned provider for one. Talk about a productive afternoon.

However, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows for CR7 as all those record and statistics would have you believe and some fans are inclined to think a rift has formed between him and his manager.

Ronaldo and Sarri's frosty exchange

There have been times this season where Ronaldo's relationship with Maurizio Sarri has looked frosty at best and the TV cameras picked up a strange moment between the two vs Torino.

Sarri was seen chatting to Ronaldo on the touchline which, we can only assume, concerned tactics, but the latter's reaction to the discussion was bizarre to say the very least.

Not only did Ronaldo look baffled by what he'd just discussed, but he then proceeded to walk away with an eye-roll and shake of the head. You can check out the strange moment below:

GIVEMESPORT's Kobe Tong says

Is there beef between Ronaldo and Sarri? I'd like to say 'no', but it's actually quite hard to say.

You only need to look at the fact Sarri rubbed so many Chelsea players up the wrong way last season - Kepa Arrizabalga, cough cough - to see there's scope for such tensions forming.

It's clear from the footage that Ronaldo was bemused and displeased with something and its close proximity to the chat with Sarri would leave you thinking that's the only possible cause.

In which case, regardless of whether they were discussing tactics or Netflix programmes, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence in Juventus having a perfect player-manager relationship.

But emotions on the pitch can be far different to day-to-day emotions on the training ground and Juve's lead at the top of Serie A would suggest they're getting along just fine.

That being said, maybe Kepa and Ronaldo should meet some time...
