Man Utd's Aaron Wan-Bissaka accidentally invented a new skill vs Bournemouth

Manchester United had plenty to cheer about during their 5-2 win over Bournemouth.

The crazy affair at Old Trafford will go down as one of the most entertaining Premier League games of the season and marked the first time United had scored five at home in the league since 2011.

However, it didn't start promisingly for the Red Devils as they went 1-0 after just 16 minutes with Junior Stanislas nutmegging Harry Maguire and beating David de Gea at this near post.

United were quick to fire back, though, with Mason Greenwood continuing his rich vein of form with the equaliser and Marcus Rashford keeping cool to convert from the penalty spot.

A beauty from Anthony Martial looked to have put United out of sight at half-time, but the Cherries fought back with a Joshua King penalty and had an equaliser for 3-3 ruled out by VAR.

But thankfully for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, that wobbly start to the second-half proved to be a wake-up call with Greenwood once again finding the net in spectacular fashion.

Then, just to round things off in perfect fashion, Bruno Fernandes bagged the goal that his two assists had deserved by thrashing a superb free-kick past Aaron Ramsdale.

A perfect day at the office then? Well... maybe perfect for everybody aside from Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who will probably have a much better weekend if he stays away from Twitter.

Wan-Bissaka's botched skill

Wan-Bissaka has been one of United's best players this season and an absolute rock at the back, but it goes without saying that his attacking play has come in for criticism at times.

And although we're inclined to think it's a little harsh, there's no denying that Wan-Bissaka endured an embarrassing moment when trying to turn on the style against Bournemouth.

That's because the former Crystal Palace defender went viral for seemingly trying a Ronaldo chop, only to woefully miss the ball and produce a 'skill' that looked like some sort of break dance.

We can't decide whether him styling it out makes it look better or worse, but join the hundreds of football fans who have already chuckled about by checking out the video down below:

Ever considered Strictly Come Dancing, Aaron?

Miraculously, despite seeming to swing his limbs into the next postcode, Wan-Bissaka managed to recover from the botched skill to complete a pass before being surrounded by defenders.

Even the best footballers make some bizarre mistakes, don't get us wrong, but we can't exactly imagine Trent Alexander-Arnold making such a weird swing at the ball before crossing.

Either way, though, such an emphatic victory over Bournemouth means United are firmly in the race for Champions League qualification.

And we like to think Wan-Bissaka will be busting his moves to the famous anthem if they make it...
