Another day, another reason to get excited about Mason Greenwood.Manchester United’s rising star was at it again during the 5-2 win against Bournemouth on Saturday, scoring twice as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side made it 16 games unbeaten in all competitions.“Mason is a specialist finisher, a specialist goalscorer and if he shoots it’s because he thinks he can score,” Solskjaer said at full-time, per the Mirror.Greenwood scored with two thumping finishes - the first with his left foot, the second with his right foot - to make it 15 goals for the season. The 18-year-old is a remarkable young talent and the sky is the limit. He netted the equaliser against Bournemouth after United fell 1-0 behind and then grabbed his second and United’s fourth in the second half. Both strikes were emphatic and it’s clear that this is a player who belongs on the big stage.p1eceqt7id1anp1ifpmmv1erugalb.jpgNow, his individual highlights from the match have emerged and they prove the Red Devils have a special player on their hands.

WhoScored gave Greenwood a rating of 8.52. His stats show the impact that he made.

If he keeps it up, then he’ll be given plenty more opportunities for United.

Solskjaer admitted afterwards that he’s never seen a player of Greenwood’s age with better finishing skills - but didn’t want to compare the teenager of other United greats.

“I don’t want to compare Mason to Wazza or Cristiano Ronaldo - he will create his own career and is doing it his own way,” the Norwegian added.

“We always come back to his finishing because the goals he scores are exceptional, and the time he scores them as well.

“But his general overall play is improving, his fitness is improving, his understanding of his position is improving more and more.”

GIVEMESPORT’s Scott Wilson says…

I mean, the lad’s a bit good isn’t he?

What immediately stands out when watching him play, aside from the finishing skills, is how confident he looks.

He’s not afraid of the situation and already looks like a Man United player.

Surrounded by class players such as Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, he’s in the perfect setting to shine and Man United supporters should be very excited about the future.
