Jordi Alba, 31, has finally got his driver’s licence.Last year, it emerged that the Barcelona left-back was driven to training by dad.Alba’s teammate Gerard Pique shared the revelation on late-night Spanish television show La Resistencia.Pique was asked how Barcelona’s young forward Ansu Fati, 17, gets to training, and revealed that Fati uses the same method as Pique - parental help."His dad brings him," Pique said. "Just like Jordi Alba."But now Alba, who earns a reported £150,000-per-week, no longer needs to rely on his dad after passing his driving test.Footage of Alba driving to training was shared on Twitter by journalist David Ibanez.

Look at that whip. Alba’s splashed the cash on a Range Rover Sport, and why not?

Alba will be hoping Barcelona can turn their fortunes around as they try to retain the La Liga title.

One win in four matches has left Quique Setien’s side four points behind Real Madrid (on the morning of July 5) and with time running out to regain top spot.

The restart hasn’t gone as Barcelona would have wanted it and the title is now out of their hands.

Setien’s job is now hanging by a thread and there are reports that club legend Xavi has agreed a £5.4 million deal to take over at the Camp Nou at the end of the season.

Mundo Deportivo report that Lionel Messi and co. are satisfied with Xavi’s potential return.

GIVEMESPORT's Scott Wilson says...

Barcelona's form since La Liga returned is a real concern.

They've drawn against Sevilla, Celta Vigo and Atletico Madrid and now the title looks like it's heading towards Madrid.

Yet Barcelona's problems extend further than just Setien, his coaches and the players.

The recent trade of Arthur for Miralem Pjanic raised eyebrows. Pjanic is seven years older than Arthur and his best years are behind him.

Then there are the failed moves for the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele, expensive signings who haven't delivered.

And Antoine Griezmann's debut season has been problematic, too.

If not for Messi's brilliance, you really have to wonder just where Barcelona would be in the table.
