Arsenal finally look as if they're making some progress under Mikel Arteta. After a disastrous restart to their Premier League campaign, which saw them lose to both Manchester City and Brighton, the Gunners have now won their last four games in all competitions.Saturday's 2-0 win away at Champions League-chasing Wolves was arguably the team's best result of the Arteta era.Arsenal defended diligently and looked a constant threat on the break, with Bukayo Saka - fresh from signing a new contract - scoring a wonderful goal. Both Saka and fellow exciting youngster Gabriel Martinelli have now signed new deals at the club and fans are praying that star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will follow suit. The 31-year-old Gabonese striker has made it clear on numerous occasions that he is happy in London and reports have suggested he's made his contract demands to the Arsenal hierarchy. And just to tease Arsenal fans further, Aubameyang hinted that he was ready to sign a new contract while doing an Instagram Live.

A fan says "blink if you're gunna sign", with Aubameyang proceeding to blink - in a rather exaggerated manner as well.

Imagine the scenes on Twitter if he doesn't put pen to paper now...

GIVEMESPORT'S Danny Ryan says...

When Arsenal lost 2-1 to Brighton, it looked all but a certainty that Aubameyang would be off in the summer.

However, after four wins on the spin and the striker showing no signs of desertion from responsibility, you get the feeling he might just 'sign da ting'.

Aubameyang in action

If his demands of £250,000-per-week on a three-year deal are true, it's an offer that the Gunners simply have to make.

The total outlay over the three years would be around £40m and you ask yourself; could Arsenal acquire a striker as good for that much in the transfer market? Absolutely not.

If it means offloading Alexandre Lacazette, so be it.
