Tottenham Hotspur are back to winning ways.
Fresh from their horrific defeat to Sheffield United last week, in which they fell to a 3-1 defeat, they returned to action on Monday night against Everton.
The game wasn’t a classic by any means, with Michael Keane’s own goal enough to give Jose Mourinho’s side a gritty 1-0 win.
It leaves them eighth in the Premier League table, just one point behind Arsenal, who they face this weekend after Thursday’s encounter with AFC Bournemouth.
Perhaps the most exciting element of the clash with Carlo Ancelotti’s side, though, came at half-time.
Hugo Lloris sprinted from his position in goal to the halfway line in order to clash with winger Son Heung-Min.
They had to be separated by their team-mates and replays showed that Lloris was unhappy with the South Korea international’s tracking back.
Indeed, he appeared to give up on chasing back down the flank after Spurs surrendered possession, and Richarlison went through on goal and took a shot, sending an effort just wide.
However, they appeared to make up before the second half, as Lloris and Son shared a hug in the tunnel as Spurs looked to see the game out.
They managed to do that, and Lloris looked to seek his team-mate out at full-time.
Having clashed after 45 minutes, they did exactly the opposite after the 90th, sharing a huge embrace that showed that all was forgiven.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…
This is a lovely moment and it speaks to the players holding each other to account.
Spurs surrendered to the Blades last week in their shocking defeat but this was a sign that they had no intention of repeating such a performance in north London.
That Lloris felt Son was not offering enough, and told him so, can only be a good thing.
It will breed a culture of cohesion and of self-accountability, and make manager Jose Mourinho’s job all the easier.
That the two did not hold any grudges and exchanged a cuddle at the end proves that they are still the best of friends, and makes the moment all the more touching.News Now - Sport News
