Cristiano Ronaldo may have been the losing side last night but it was a memorable night for the Portuguese legend. When he put Juventus 2-0 ahead against AC Milan, Ronaldo ensured he reached 30 goals for the season in all competitions. For the 10th time in 11 seasons, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has hit that milestone. Not only that but it now means Ronaldo has either scored or assisted in each of the last 17 Serie A games. That has resulted in 21 goals and five assists. Not bad for a 35-year-old.p1ecnb69rf1ta31u6p1m0r27419aib.jpgYes, 35-years-old and Ronaldo is still producing the goods at the very highest level and competing for Ballon d’Ors.To put that into context, talkSPORT compared that to what other football legends were doing at that age. They highlighted how the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Brazilian Ronaldo and Kaka were already retired. While Ronaldinho didn’t have a club. Xavi, Thierry Henry and Pele were all enjoying one final payday at Al Sadd, New York Red Bulls and New York Cosmos respectively.

Ronaldo is at an age where he should really be appreciating him while he's still around because, like many other legends of the game, he could have retired by now.

GIVEMESPORT’s Rob Hoskin says:

How much longer can Ronaldo perform at this level? He certainly shows no signs of slowing down, that’s for sure.

It’s not just his goalscoring record which now stands at 26 goals in 27 league matches and 30 in 39 appearances in all competitions.

But he’s still in incredible physical shape.

Reports emerged that he came back from lockdown in even better shape than he was before the coronavirus pandemic halted football.

That just epitomises his incredible work effort to stay in shape, enabling to play at the highest level possible.

You can’t imagine his attitude ever changing.

Right now, Cristiano is a genuine contender for the 2020 Ballon d’Or.

He’s nowhere near retiring just yet.
