Mohamed Salah was undoubtedly Liverpool's Man of the Match during their win over Brighton & Hove Albion.The Reds moved one step closer to becoming the greatest Premier League team in history - objectively, at least - by securing a 3-1 victory at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday night.Salah himself got the action underway on six minutes when he received the ball from Naby Keita, courtesy of Roberto Firmino's dummy, to profit from some fine Liverpool pressing.Jordan Henderson then added a second just a few moments afterwards with a brilliant curling strike, before Leandro Trossard got the Seagulls back in the game before half-time.However, Salah was in one of those moods where he simply can't be contained, ensuring the three points went back to Anfield by flicking Andrew Robertson's corner into the net.

Salah on the hat-trick hunt
With the Premier League title already secured on Merseyside, there's no doubt that Salah will have one eye on securing his third Golden Boot in as many seasons with Liverpool.
And that was wholly apparent in his style of play during the final exchanges on the south coast, trying in vein to secure a hat-trick, but he certainly didn't fail because of a lack of chances.
No, in fact, Salah seemed to spend the final 10 minutes losing his temper, looking miffed and generally appearing animated just about every time there was a slight chance of a treble.
Mindset of a champion?
His behaviour even prompted The Athletic journalist James Pearce to tweet: "Mohamed Salah the match-winner but fuming with himself at the end for missing the chance to complete a hat-trick.
"The mindset of a champion. 104 PL appearances for #LFC - 73 goals, 27 assists. Ridiculously good."

The mindset of a champion, you say? Well, the video evidence only seems to support that fact as Salah could be seen looking frustrated and agitated on no less than three occasions in the dying minutes.
Case one: Salah could be seen throwing his arms around when Sadio Mane decided to shoot instead of crossing the ball into him.
Case two: Salah rolls around on the floor in disbelief that Matt Ryan somehow managed to deny him a hat-trick despite his determination to go alone.
Case three: Hiding his face under his shirt after missing a header that, let's face it, he should have absolutely buried.
All that in the space of about ten minutes. We can't fault you for trying, Mo.
But was Salah selfish?
However, not everybody was happy with the way that Salah was behaving and it seems as though Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness feels as though he took selfishness to new heights.
"He was at it tonight from the first minute. I think it [the Golden Boot] is important to him. You’ve seen his reaction when people weren’t finding him late on in the game in the last third," the Scot remarked.
"He was shooting at every opportunity, and his teammates will not have been happy with him on two or three occasions. But he’s always selfish. I think tonight he was super selfish. He really wants his Golden Boot.
Mindset of a champion or downright selfish? We'll let you decide but either way, he's only two goals behind Jamie Vardy now and you wouldn't exactly bet against him making it three in a row.
