20 - Sergio Martinez
19 - Rocky Marciano
18 - Bernard Hopkins
17 - Manny Pacquiao
16 - Joe Louis
A few house-hold names start to enter the frame as we edge closer to the number one spot.
Rocky Marciano, who fought in the early 1950's, was a heavyweight champion that finished his career undefeated. Marciano completed six title defences, but some fans aren't convinced of his abilities.
"People tend to rate him in the top 10 of all time. He was too small and old fighters gave him trouble," one fan said. "Dude never fought a true champion," another stated.
Manny Pacquiao is another huge name to find their way onto this list. The Filipino fighter is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing, but it's the opinion of some fans that you shouldn't believe the Pacquiao hype.
"The best excuses, rode his own bandwagon that occupied millions of his fans that claim this fool of is the best of his generation," a fan commented.
Despite appearing 16th in this list, one fan appeared to be incredibly supportive of Joe Louis. The fan stated that Louis was underrated and boldly places the fighter as the second greatest of all time. The fan backed up this statement by saying he fought a lot of tough opponents and completed 25 title defences.
15 - Larry Holmes
14 - Wladimir Klitschko
13 - Ricky Hatton
12 - Mike Tyson
11 - Saul Canelo Alvarez
The Mike Tyson fans are foaming at the mouth as we speak. Tyson launched himself into boxing stardom by becoming the youngest ever heavyweight world champion at the age of 20. However, despite his obvious successes, not everybody is convinced.
"Never has a fighter gotten so much credit for what he didn't do," one fan said. "Tyson's level of competition in the '80s isn't as good as Tyson fans claim he could beat. He fought the worst version of Larry Holmes too.
"Tyson lost in his prime, but Tyson fans say he was past his prime at the old age of just five minutes before the Douglas fight."
The inclusion of Canelo certainly split opinion. Some fans back the 29-year-old, saying he's lost just a single fight across 56 bouts - with this one defeat coming against Floyd Mayweather. However, others question the calibre and quality of fighters in those other.News Now - Sport News
