Customisation specialists dbrand are offering gamers the chance to personalise their new PS5 console before its release.
Dbrand, who also specialise in iPhones and MacBooks, are offering new console and controller skins for Sony’s big release.
The options will allow players to change the outer appearance of their PS5 from its original white colour, which has been a major talking point for gamers so far.
PlayStation has stuck to a traditionally black colour scheme since the PS2 was launched all the way back in November 2000. So when they decided to change it up and go for a monochrome colour scheme on the PS5, it caused some debate in the gaming world.
If you’re unhappy with the colour, then dbrand will allow you to choose your preferred colour. The full list of potential skins and wraps is available here.
The company is offering over 30 different varieties of PS5 skins to customers, ranging from the classic black matte to green carbon and black swarm.
Skins are available from as little as $9.95, with the controller options offering grip and texture to enhance your gaming experience.
The new PS5 is rumoured for a November 2020 release here in the UK, with prices set to range between £400 and £500. It will be the first console release since the PS4, which debuted in stores back in 2013.
The announcement has created some significant reactions during the global lockdown, with most players eager to see how Sony deals with competition from the Xbox Series X.
One of the best parts about the new console will be seeing how a host of new games fair. 'Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart' will be one of many new games to debut on the PS5, while the new Assassin’s Creed title could look stunning on both Sony and Microsoft’s new consoles.
It seems there’s a lot to be excited about with the new gaming consoles coming our way.
