Relegation-threatened Aston Villa were in desperate need of all three points against Manchester United on Thursday evening.They went close through Jack Grealish early on at Villa Park, but it was Bruno Fernandes who put the in-form visitors ahead in the 27th minute thanks to a hugely controversial penalty.Referee Jon Moss pointed to the spot after Fernandes was fouled just inside the box by Ezri Konsa, but many football fans believe the decision was extremely harsh on the Villa defender.VAR reviewed the incident and, to the surprise of many, agreed that a penalty was the right decision.Judge for yourself by watching the incident…

Incidentally, this was penalty number 13 for Man Utd this season - no team has even been awarded more in a Premier League season.
